OTZ Wind Station Data Help
The Kotzebue Wind Data Station produces one data summary each hour.
The data collector samples the wind speed and direction every 10 seconds. Time stamps are in Alaska Standard Time (GMT-9).
Sensor: R.M. Young 05106 Marine Grade Anemometer.
Sensor Height: 33 feet AGL (Approx 45 feet above MLLW)
Sample Rate: 10 seconds
Summary Rate: hourly
